Dr. Benjamin J. Cumbus graduated from the University of Alabama in 1968. He then graduated from the University of Alabama Dental School in 1972. After graduation from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, Dr. Cumbus served in the US Air Force as a Captain in Spangdahlem, Germany for two years. Dr. Cumbus completed his Internship and Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama - Children's Hospital in 1976. He is a member of the Alabama Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Cumbus is immediate Past President of the Alabama Dental Association.

A native of Montgomery, Dr. Cumbus and his wife, Ginny are active in community affairs. They attend First United Methodist Church and have participated in several Mission Trips to Costa Rica and Jamaica. He serves on the Metro Board of the Montgomery YMCA, the Camp Chandler Board and is a Member of the Montgomery Lion's Club. Dr. Cumbus has practiced pediatric dentistry in Montgomery for over twenty years and enjoys fishing, skiing and travel in his spare time.
