Meet Our Doctors

Julia Isherwood Schreiber, D.M.D.

Originally from Daphne, Alabama, along the state’s scenic Gulf Coast, Dr. Julia Isherwood Schreiber is proud to bring compassionate pediatric dental care to families in Alabama. She earned her degree in biomedical sciences from Auburn University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006.

Dr. Schreiber continued her training with a pediatric dentistry residency at UAB and The Children’s Hospital of Alabama, where she gained extensive experience in treating children and patients with special needs, including advanced training at the Sparks Center.

Dr. Schreiber remains committed to staying at the forefront of pediatric dentistry through active membership in professional organizations, including the Alabama Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

She lives in Montgomery with her husband, Dr. Alex Schreiber—an orthodontist—and their children. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, and exploring new places.

LaKeshia Thomas, D.M.D.

A proud Montgomery native, Dr. LaKeshia Thomas graduated from Loveless Academic Magnet Program (LAMP) before earning her Biology degree magna cum laude from Florida A&M University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2012.

To further her training, Dr. Thomas completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and Lutheran Medical Center in Memphis. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, reflecting her commitment to excellence in the field.

Dr. Thomas has always had a heart for working with children, which led her back to Alabama to pursue specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and Children’s Hospital of Alabama. During her residency, she was selected as a Sparks trainee, receiving advanced training in caring for patients with special needs.

She remains actively involved in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Alabama Dental Association. Outside of work, Dr. Thomas enjoys biking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
